Project SEB's new office

During the period 2017-18, 4,400 SEB employees will move into three interconnected office buildings that serve as a single unit. Characterised by environmental thinking to the smallest detail, this is one of the largest office projects in the foreseeable future.

SEB's sustainability vision for the future

SEB, one of Sweden's four largest banks, has selected Arenastaden as the location where it will concentrate large parts of its business in Stockholm. During the period 2017-18, 4,400 SEB employees will move into three interconnected office buildings that serve as a single unit. Characterised by environmental thinking to the smallest detail, this is one of the largest office projects in the foreseeable future.

The buildings are being built at Stjärntorget and Pyramidvägen just steps away from the Mall of Scandinavia and Friends Arena, thus creating an attractive and dynamic urban environment with open squares and excellent transport services.

The buildings contain a diverse array of offices and a variety of service and support functions. A restaurant and cafe are located on the entrance level and parking is situated at the very bottom of the buildings, just as for the nearest neighbour Mall of Scandinavia.

Promotes cooperation and spontaneous meetings

The façades of the seven to fourteen storey houses are clad in modern and stylish glass. The buildings are linked together both above and below ground, a solution that simplifies collaboration and spontaneous meetings between the various departments of the bank. On the roof there will be plants and solar cells.

Projected for BREEAM environmental classification

SEB's new office has a very ambitious environmental profile, and is projected to achieve BREEAM-SE's environmental classification Excellent. Material choices are always made with great concern for the environment.

BREEAM-SE ambitions apply to the entire construction process, from the demolition of the previous building, the building's energy consumption, indoor air quality, water and waste management to the impact on the local environment and the building's location relative to public transport.

SEB has signed a green lease with us, which entails in-depth cooperation on environmental issues and climate impact.
