As part of this ambition, Fabege acquired the residential development company Birger Bostad (formerly SHH Bostad). Founded in 2010, Birger Bostad has been part of Fabege since 2021.

The name Birger Bostad originates from Birger Gustavsson, a master builder in the 20th century and founder of Fastighets AB Birger Gustavsson – which today is known as Fabege.

About Birger Bostad

Birger Bostad has been part of Fabege since autumn 2021 and is a nationwide company that develops affordable and functional properties.

Our goal is to achieve this without compromising on quality or environmental standards, and we collaborate with reputable construction companies that meet our demands for quality and precision.

Our operations span the entire chain – from the acquisition of land for housing and community properties, to their sale, as well as the long-term management of community properties.
