Fabege has signed three lease agreements covering 3,761 sqm in the Sliparen 2 property in Solna Business Park. HSB will lease 2,601 sqm of office space, Coor will lease 947 sqm of conference space and Nordrest will lease 213 sqm of café space. All three agreements are for a period of 5 years and are expected to start in the third quarter of 2023.
Solna Business Park is the perfect place for businesses and strong brands. The architecture has retained its industrial character and urban development is realised mainly by upgrading existing buildings. Sliparen 2 is environmentally certified at the Excellent level pursuant to Breeam-In-Use. Earlier this year, CGI also signed a lease agreement for approximately 4,200 sqm in the neighbouring property Svetsaren 1.
- “We are pleased that the vacancy resulting from Evry’s move to Arenastaden will now be filled by new tenants who generate vibrancy and activity in the area. We are working in a targeted way to bring the total occupancy rate in the property portfolio back up to 95 per cent. We have strengthened our sales organisation during the year and the lease agreements in Solna Business Park show that we are on the right track,” comments Johan Zachrisson, Director of Business Development at Fabege.
Sliparen 2 is being developed under the concept name Scenen and upon completion it will form a meeting place that promotes interaction and experiences by providing a carefully selected range of services.
- “We are very much looking forward to moving into Scenen in Solna Business Park. The location is strategically important for us and the office meets our wishes and expectations in a very good way,” says Anders Joachimsson, Business Area Manager Real Estate, HSB Stockholm
Solna Business Park has an outstanding location in terms of public transport, as the light railway passes through it and Sundbyberg station is just a five-minute walk away. This is the only station in Stockholm at which the metro, light railway, local trains and intercity trains meet.
- “We are delighted to be able to contribute our expertise and thereby make Scenen a place where people can interact and where the physical environment and the services that are provided enhance the experience. We are also very pleased to be able to do this together with Nordrest,” says Per Julin, Business Developer at Coor Konferens
In addition to the conference and café services offered at Scenen, two other concepts will also add vibrancy to the ground floors in Solna Business Park in 2023. F9, an arena for exercise, work, culture and meetings, provided in collaboration with for example Allstars Training Center, Fit4Life, Urban Tribes and The Works, will open in January. Smedens Mathall, a meeting place and destination for food and events, with an air of Brooklyn and Berlin, will open later in the spring. Like the café in Scenen, this will be run by Nordrest.
