Flemingsberg is home to one of Sweden’s largest campuses, with five universities and colleges and almost 20,000 students. One of Sweden’s biggest urban development projects is taking place here. The development plans for Flemingsberg include collaboration between the business world, academia, civil society and the public sector, all with the aim of strengthening the student city Flemingsberg.
Campus Flemingsberg is a vibrant and multidisciplinary campus with an exciting mix of higher education, research, knowledge-intensive companies and healthcare in an expansive environment.
“The mix of and interaction between Karolinska Institutet, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the Swedish Red Cross University, the Stockholm University College of Music Education and Södertörn University make Campus Flemingsberg absolutely unique and provide endless possibilities,” says Gustav Amberg, President of Södertörn University.
In addition to the universities and colleges, Flemingsberg is also home to Widerströmska Upper Secondary School, the Idun Lovén School of Art and Karolinska University Hospital.

Campus Flemingsberg is being integrated into the emerging regional urban centre, which is laying the foundations for completely new conditions for collaboration and real opportunities to promote a high-quality student life,” says Camilla Broo, Director of Huddinge Municipality.

The development plans for the student city Flemingsberg require collaboration between the business world, academia, civil society and the public sector. On 21 February, Campus Flemingsberg and Fabege are holding the annual Regulatordagen conference, which this year has the main theme “Student city Flemingsberg”.
Campus Flemingsberg in Huddinge Municipality consists of: Karolinska Institutet, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the Swedish Red Cross University, the Stockholm University College of Music Education, Södertörn University, the Idun Lovén School of Art and Widerströmska Upper Secondary School.
The Regulatordagen 2024 conference is being organised by Campus Flemingsberg and Fabege.
