People should want to live and spend time in our districts throughout their lives. As part of making sure they do, Birger Bostad (former SHH Bostad) is now part of Fabege.
We know that it is the mix of buildings and the life going on around them that makes a district attractive and safe for those who live there. As a wholly owned subsidiary, we are able to take a holistic approach to urban development in our areas. At Birger Bostad we develop our residential projects and public-sector properties so that we can create districts to live in – and this encompasses schools, pre-schools, care homes, culture and a wide range of services.
By developing the whole district, we can, for example, control the choice of facade materials and the location of entrances to create an attractive, vibrant and safe district. This allows us to design what is best for the specific residential project, but also for the district as a whole.
