Miele's new showroom and office premises are unlike anything you've ever seen before

Miele has now opened the doors to its new office and showroom premises in Solna Business Park, which have been named one of Sweden’s most stylish offices in 2024. In collaboration with Fabege and Studio Stockholm Arkitektur, Miele's Swedish head office has become a workplace and showroom unlike any other office in Sweden. It combines the company's history and values with an innovative and inspiring working environment.

Product presence

The new headquarters have been designed to be the face of the business and a place about which the entire brand and its employees can be proud. With the company’s products also being showcased there, the whole office really embodies Miele, with the aim of being inviting, creating curiosity and keeping the place full of energy.

“These premises show who we are and what we stand for. By combining history, innovation and sustainability, we have created a working environment that not only inspires our employees, but also encourages creativity and collaboration, thereby making it a hub for the company's continuing development,” says Niklas Mair, Managing Director Miele Nordic.

Designed like a small town

The office is organised like a small town, with different 'buildings' housing different functions, and lively little streets, stairways and open spaces that connect the environment together and create natural meeting places.

The concept of active environment permeates the entire office building. In the Active Kitchen, Miele's own chef holds cookery classes for colleagues, partners and consumers, with a focus on the company’s own products.

Susanna Elvsén, Market Area Manager at Fabege, describes the project as exciting and inspiring:

“Miele and Studio Stockholm had a clear vision regarding what they wanted to achieve, and it has been inspiring to work together to create a workplace that really meets their high ambitions. For us, Miele's office and showroom are proof that Fabege offers attractive and flexible premises in which our customers can develop over time.”

A global vision becomes a local reality

Miele's new office in Solna Business Park is part of the company's new global design guide for developing its workplaces to create innovative and inspiring environments. Studio Stockholm was the architect responsible for developing the design guide.

“Miele's workplaces and offices should always reflect its innovative and pioneering way of thinking. The office spaces are driven by creativity and new ideas, together with sustainable solutions. It shouldn't matter if you're sitting in a small or a large Miele office, visitors should get the same feeling of being in the Miele universe everywhere. There should be a connection to the company’s history, experience, pride in its products and position at the forefront of materials and solutions,” says Carl Rössner, the responsible architect at Studio Stockholm.

Strong growth in Solna Business Park

Miele is now part of the rapidly growing mix of companies that have chosen Solna Business Park as their base. The strategic location, with the best public transport connections after central station, was a perfect match for Miele's needs.

“We are very proud to welcome Miele to Solna Business Park. Its presence reinforces our focus on creating a dynamic and inspiring environment in which businesses can grow and develop,” says Susanna Elvsén.
